Lately I have been loving Maggie Holmes papers! I really want to buy her ephemera pack but can't seem to find where to purchase it. Her papers have that vintage vibe I really love. 

I hand-sewed around the edge of the paper for that little extra touch.

Be Wonderful Layout

Happy First Day of Autumn!

Today I am sharing a page from my first Handbook Album I have started. I really like the size of the album and am contemplating switching my yearly album from the Becky Higgin's size 12 x 12 album to this smaller 8.75 x 9.75 size from Studio Calico. But for now, I am using this wood-grain Handbook for family photos :) Hope you like it!

June Project Life

Hello!

It was a busy summer and now fall is here (my favorite season - hello sweater weather!). We traveled quite a bit this summer so I didn't have much time for scrapbooking. Now I should have more time for hobbies, which is a nice change.

This weekend I completed my June Project Life spread, and now I am sharing it with you! I used mostly all products from Studio Calico kits or from the Midnight Edition Core Kit. Every kit I get from Studio Calico I love more than the last. I am definitely happy to be a subscriber! I included an insert between the two Design A pages so that I could have a few more pictures. I went quite simple in my design and really love the way it turned out.

March Project Life

Hi!

I have decided to change how I go about my Project Life spreads so that I can keep up! This is my first year trying Project Life and I initially tried doing a weekly layout - fail! So I am switching to monthly spreads and am going to catch up! I really liked the weekly spreads but it was too much work. As soon as I decided to switch to monthly, I stopped feeling overwhelmed by how behind I am. Just a few months to work on instead of several weeks makes a huge difference and I am excited to get back on track.

So here is my first monthly spread for March (I know, we are already halfway through July!). And hopefully, I will be caught up right away!

Smash Book Layout | Library Cards

Hello!

How is your week going? I have another Smash Book layout to show you today. This one started with a library themed background which I continued by making my own library card that I inserted into a pocket so that it is easy to remove and read the journaling.

It's different for me to do a layout without a photo but I like the way it turned out. I love the crocheted flowers! I need to make some handcrafted ones for other layouts.

A Smash Book Layout | Teal and Creme

Hello!

Today I have a Smash Book layout to show you! I love Smash Books - for me they feel like "real scrapbooking". Of course, Smash Books are fancier than just a notebook and some photos - but they have that kind of feel. 

I really love this paper with the birds and the sky - such a beautiful, serene background. So I continued with the teals and cremes throughout my layout.

Flashback Friday | I Want to Ride My Bicycle

Here is a simple layout I did for a super cute photo of my husband as a little boy riding his bicycle. I really like the color combination with the "happy yellow". I used thicker alphas and some My Mind's Eye embellishments.

Currently | Summer is Here

Tonight we went for Mexican food, then for frozen yogurt and finished with a bike ride! It was a good day.... finally it's getting hot and we can enjoy being outside!

Project Life Spread

Hello!

Here is the Project Life post that I promised! I used a few different embellishments on this spread, but on the next layouts, I want to start sewing/embroidering on my pages more often. I think it adds a nice touch. I really like this post from Happie Scrappie about how to use stamps as a template to sew on. I want to try it out! What do you think of sewing on scrapbooking layouts?
